It was founded in the first half of the VI century. Assyrian monk David came and settled in a small natural cave in the Gareji Desert with his disciple Lukyan.
We will depart from Tbilisi to David Gareji Monastery. Travel time is about 2 hours. The complex, founded in the sixth century, is of great historical importance.
